Report counting error in results

Do you think a counting error has been made at a polling station or at the Municipal Electoral Office? If so, you can report this to the Central Electoral Office. You can report:

  • a report from a polling station
  • an official report from the Municipal Electoral Commission
  • the digital results file (OSV file)

You can submit a report after the public meeting of the Municipal Electoral Committee on March 19, 2026, using an online form. Reports can be submitted until Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 12:00 noon. Providing your contact details is not mandatory. If you do provide them, the Central Electoral Committee may contact you with questions.

You cannot report an incident by telephone or social media. The Central Electoral Committee processes all reports and includes them in the appendix to the official report of the public hearing of the Central Electoral Committee.

Requirements

  • Your report concerns a possible error in the counting of votes in an official report or in the digital results file. These are errors that the Municipal Electoral Office can correct.
  • Your report is substantiated and specific. Simply reporting that a mistake has been made is not sufficient.
  • You saw the error yourself. You cannot report something that someone else saw. Examples:
  1. "I voted for candidate X and cannot find my vote." is a report that is being processed.
  2. "I have heard that the votes were not counted correctly at polling station X." Or "My neighbor says he voted for candidate X, but that vote cannot be found." These are reports that will not be processed.
