Canal through Voorne lock reopened
The Kanaal door Voorne lock on Stationsweg is open again, but is running minimal operating hours during necessary repair work.
For the past week, the lock was completely closed to shipping. This was due to damage to the sliders in the lock gates. These gates are necessary to bridge the difference in height between the Haringvliet and the harbor.
Minimum operating times
During repair work, we will maintain the following hours of operation:
- Monday through Friday at 8:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday at 10:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
It is not clear how long the work will take.
