Lock Kanaal door Voorne closed to ships

The lock gates contain slides and they have been damaged. The slides are needed to bridge the difference in height between the Haringvliet and the harbor.

A solution is urgently being sought. Engineers are already working on the lock. It is not yet clear how long it will take. There is a possibility that the operating hours will be limited in the coming period.
