Service subscription for greater convenience for Woonbedrijf tenants

To provide tenants with the best possible service, Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee has developed a service subscription. From January 2025, all tenants of Woonbedrijf can sign up for this. The service subscription is intended for minor repairs to the home, such as refilling the central heating system or repairs to hinges and locks. For a small amount per month, Woonbedrijf takes some of the tenant's maintenance out of their hands.
The landlord is responsible for maintaining the exterior of the home and its facilities. Of course, Woonbedrijf does necessary maintenance and repairs to keep the homes in good condition. For small and daily maintenance in the house, the tenant himself is responsible. But not everyone can or wants to do those smaller jobs themselves.
Alderman Daan van Orselen: "As Woonbedrijf, we like to roll up our sleeves for our tenants. With the service subscription we can serve our tenants even better. Chores that are sometimes difficult for people, we can then perform for them. Convenience and comfort, that's what we like to offer tenants."
On Thursday, January 23, the service subscription was signed by Ms. van de Meeberg at the town hall in Hellevoetsluis. Alderman Daan van Orselen, Jaap van Veggel, team head of Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee and the Tenants Association Voorne aan Zee, were present.
All tenants have been informed in writing about the possibilities. Meanwhile, 328 tenants have already signed up for the service subscription, as has Mrs. van de Meeberg. Tenants who have not yet done so can of course still sign up. A service subscription is not mandatory.
