Council meeting in a nutshell - April 18, 2024
The municipal council of Voorne aan Zee met on Thursday 18 April and took a number of decisions. In this news item you can read which points were discussed and which decisions were taken.
Purchase of homes in Brielle from Hef Wonen
A partnership between housing corporations Maasdelta, Ressort Wonen and the municipal Housing Company Voorne aan Zee takes over approximately 750 homes from Hef Wonen. These are homes in the centre and surrounding neighbourhoods of Brielle, Vierpolders and Zwartewaal. The homes will be made more sustainable in the long term, so that they become more energy-efficient and comfortable. With the help of the unanimously adopted motion 'Sustainability of Housing Company', the municipality aims to provide all acquired homes with an energy label A from 2030. An action plan will be drawn up for this in the course of 2024.
