Presentation of the first copy of the brochure ‘Safe and Vital in Voorne aan Zee
The first copy of the brochure "Safe and Vital in Voorne aan Zeewas officially presented to Mrs. Scharloo on February 27 at Stuifakkers in Rockanje. A 102-year-old resident of the municipality who is still very active. The presentation was made by Mayor Arno Scheepers and councilor Melissa de Rijke of Partij met LEF! Melissa de Rijke is the author of the motion 'Information provision on safety for seniors', which was unanimously adopted by the municipal council.

By choosing Ms. Scharloo, the municipality wants to emphasize the importance of vitality, involvement, and active participation in society. Ms. Scharloo is 102 years old and still active as a volunteer, making her an inspiring example for residents of all ages.

Ms. Scharloo shows that it is possible to remain involved in society at any age.” Mayor Scheepers indicated that the brochure helps residents to support each other and make use of the facilities within Voorne aan Zee. The brochure will be distributed door-to-door to residents of Voorne aan Zee 65 and older in the coming period and will also be available at public locations such as the library.
