On September 25, the signing of the renewed cooperation agreement between the Tenants' Association and the Housing Company was celebrated in Rockanje. Alderman Daan van Orselen and the chairman of the tenants' association Ger van Heck signed the new cooperation agreements. A number of members of the tenants' association were present.
Establishment of cooperation agreement
The previous cooperation agreement dates from 2009 and the world looks considerably different now. Among other things, the merger of the three former municipalities of Brielle, Hellevoetsluis and Westvoorne into the municipality of Voorne aan Zee means, for example, a larger working area for the Housing Company. That is why the Housing Company has Voorne aan Zee a proposal was made to the Tenants' Association to come to renewed cooperation agreements. The cooperation was reshaped via two inspiring and valuable joint working sessions. The first session focused on the agreement and how people interact with each other. In the second session, concrete agreements were made about which subjects the Housing Company involves the Tenants' Association in and what that means for the future.
Affordable housing also in the future
Housing company Voorne aan Zee is part of the municipality Voorne aan Zee . The Housing Company will continue to work for good and affordable housing in the coming years. The established Course Plan describes the plans and ambitions in the areas of availability, sustainability and housing quality, social and physical liveability, service provision and participation and the internal task. The Housing Company and the Tenants' Association look forward to a pleasant further collaboration!
