We would like to inform you that Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee has two visiting locations. You can find us at the Voorne aan Zee Town Hall at Oostzanddijk 26 in Hellevoetsluis and at the Pinnepot location at Langeweg 34 in Oostvoorne.

Malfunctions, repair and maintenance
Faults and reports for repairs and maintenance can still be reported to us in the same way. You can contact the supervisor by telephone on weekdays between 08.00 and 09.30 by calling 0181 - 40 80 52 or via nl
Outside of office hours, our superintendents are available for emergencies at 0181 - 40 80 52.
Projects
New construction of 42 social housing units on Patrijzenlaan in Oostvoorne
Project update: The finishing work is moving quickly. At block 4, the outside of the houses is ready. The scaffolding has been dismantled, which means we now have a good view of the final result of the homes. Block 3 is following quickly. At block 1 and 2 the bricklayer is finishing the masonry. After that, the tiles, gutters and solar panels will be installed here as well. The plasterer and tiler are scheduled to start on Block 4 before the construction vacations.
On Wednesday afternoon, July 3, the Woonbedrijf in cooperation with Bouwbedrijf Schrijver organized a successful afternoon for the future tenants of this project. All tenants were invited to the construction site. While enjoying a snack and a drink they got to know each other. They were also allowed to take a look inside their homes.
With the kitchen supplier, tenants can choose the color of the kitchen cabinet doors, handles, countertop and tile pattern. They are invited to the showroom for this purpose. The future tenants are very pleased with options and choices offered by Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee to personalize the home.

Homes by Hef Wonen
In the previous newsletter we informed you that Woonbedrijf will be taking over homes from Hef Wonen. A partnership of housing associations Maasdelta, Ressort Wonen and the municipal Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee will take over some 750 homes in Brielle from Hef Wonen. Maasdelta and Ressort Wonen became the new landlords of their new homes as of July 1. Because Woonbedrijf is not a housing corporation but part of the municipality, the takeover will take a little longer for us. It is expected that the homes will be transferred to us soon.
Rent Payment
Should you have problems paying your rent, please contact us to make arrangements, for example. If we have to send a second payment reminder, we are obliged to report this to the Voorne aan Zee municipality's early warning system.
Since January 1, 2021, municipalities are required to actively offer help to residents with payment arrears. When arrears are not resolved in a timely manner, they can grow into major debts.
If you have money worries, you can ask for help from an employee of the municipality's Debt Services Department. This person can work with you to find a solution.
Planned maintenance
Every house needs maintenance
With major and minor repairs, we make sure your home stays in good condition. Every year we give parts of our homes a maintenance check. That might be painting or cleaning. But sometimes we also replace window frames, pointing or installations in the home. We call this planned maintenance. On the Woonbedrijf page you can see what Woonbedrijf has planned for this year.
Maintenance ABC
Together, we take care of your home. Your property is your home. Therefore, it is important that your home is well maintained. The rules for maintenance are in the law. They are rules for the landlord and for the tenants. In the Maintenance ABC you will find the most common parts in your home by letter of the alphabet. Next to the maintenance activity, you will see exactly who is responsible for the maintenance and its costs: Woonbedrijf or you. Woonbedrijf has recently updated the layout of the Maintenance ABC. You will soon be able to find it on the Woonbedrijf page.
CV maintenance
Woonbedrijf has been busy with the European tender for central heating maintenance. The tender has been completed and we will continue to work with Energiewacht for the maintenance of central heating boilers for another four years.

Going on vacation? Don't give burglars a chance!
Are you going away for the weekend or on vacation? Then, of course, you don't want burglars ransacking your home. Fortunately, there are good tips that help against break-ins:
- Do not post on social media that you are on vacation.
- Give your home a lived-in appearance. For example, use a timer on the lights so that a lamp automatically comes on at night or leave cups on the table.
- Do not leave keys on the inside of locks. A burglar can smash a window, grab the key and open the door that way.
- Always close all doors and windows. Especially don't forget the toilet window.
- Don't hide keys outside the door. Burglars also know that the house key is often under the doormat or under the flower pot.
- Do not hang an address tag on a key (bunch). If you lose your keys or if they are stolen, a burglar can enter your home very easily.
- Put away ladders and wheelie bins so that climbing on them is impossible. Burglars often enter through a bedroom window.
