Planning and delivery

According to the current planning, the new staircase will be delivered by the contractor in early April. The Housing Company will make an appointment with you to hand over the new keys to you. You will receive more information about this shortly.

It is now also clear that no additional measures are required for the work on the sloping roof in the context of the flora and fauna. A contractor is now being sought for this work and the installation of the solar panels. As soon as a schedule is known, we will inform you. The adjustment of the service costs will only take effect once all work has been carried out.

Public space design

Part of the public space will be furnished once the new stairwell has been delivered. It will be ensured that you can reach the new stairwell safely and neatly. The final furnishing of the green area will then be postponed until the work on the roof has also been completed.

Filling in common area

Earlier, the Housing Company asked all residents how they would furnish the new communal area. Only a few residents responded to this question in the survey, and no clear, unambiguous preference was indicated. For the time being, the Housing Company has therefore chosen not to give any content to the communal area. In the coming period, it will be used by the Housing Company itself. Of course, your suggestions are still welcome. Please call or email us.

You can already register to use the new mobility scooter space

A new mobility scooter space has been created in the old motorcycle shed. The space is already in use. In order to regulate the use of the mobility scooter space, it has been decided to charge €8.00 per month for this. This is equal to the average electricity consumption of a mobility scooter.

Can you do something about the accessibility and nuisance in the storage areas?

In the past period it has become apparent that the common space in the storage areas is increasingly being used to store (electric) bicycles and scooters. By order of the fire department, no bicycles, scooters or other obstacles may be placed here, unless explicit permission has been granted. Do you want to remove your property from here? The Housing Company will also be paying stricter attention to this.

Announcement (new) house rules

As previously mentioned, Woonbedrijf is proud of the new look of the stairwells. We would like these spaces and the Ringmuur in general to remain tidy. You and your fellow residents are responsible for a pleasant living environment. In the house rules you can read what is expected of you. You will soon receive the house rules in your letterbox and they will be hung in the common areas of the Ringmuur.

Other information

Have we made any progress with the plans for the fire escapes?
The Housing Company is still looking into whether we can include this in the plans. A realistic and affordable solution has not yet been found. Incidentally, the fire escapes should only be used in emergencies.
