With this newsletter, we would like to inform you in broad terms about the latest state of affairs.

Let me introduce myself
Meeberg Projectmanagement en Bouwadvies Because we are guests in your neighborhood, we would like to introduce ourselves to you. My name is Victor Csorba, I am Project Manager at MPenB. MPenB provides project management and construction advice for various clients. Simply put, we are the cement between the building blocks that ensures that the entire process runs smoothly and is brought to a successful conclusion. Together with my fellow Project Managers, we will ensure that this special project runs smoothly and is a success.

Design elaboration of 42 homes
In May 2022, a new start was made with the design team for the homes on Patrijzenlaan. The design team consists of De Jong + Lafaber architects, Snetselaar Constructieve Ingenieurs, SPA WNP Ingenieurs, Meeberg Projectmanagement en Bouwadvies and Woonbedrijf Westvoorne. Why a special project? In order to provide high-quality, affordable homes for multiple target groups, a mix of family homes and upstairs-downstairs homes was chosen. In this way, Woonbedrijf wants to be able to provide a suitable housing supply for young and old. Sustainability and future-proofing are of paramount importance in the further design. The homes will be energy-neutral, so-called NOM homes (zero-on-the-meter).
Start design of public space
The Woonbedrijf has started the design for the public space. This includes the design of the lanes, sidewalks, parking facilities and public greenery. The design will seek to connect with the existing environment. The three courtyards will have a cozy and village character. When developing the public space, extra attention will be paid to the integration of the agreements made in November 2020. The view towards the environment and green property boundaries will be taken into account. We hope to have the design and associated materialization ready by mid-October to present to the residents.

Zoning plan procedure
There were 26 senior homes on Patrijzenlaan. These homes have been demolished and 42 contemporary social rental homes will be built in their place. This new number does not fit within the current zoning plan. That is why a new zoning plan has been drawn up. The draft zoning plan was made available for inspection for six weeks in January 2022. During this six-week period, everyone had the opportunity to submit a point of view on the draft zoning plan. In recent months, work has been done on responding to the points of view and, where necessary, the zoning plan will be adjusted. It is expected that the zoning plan will be submitted to the municipal council for approval in September 2022.

- finalize final design - July 2022;
- determining the municipal zoning plan - September 2022;
- European tender contracting party - 3rd/4th quarter 2022;
- intended start of construction - 1st quarter 2023.
