The Westvoorne Liveability Fund was established in 2021 by the former municipality of Westvoorne, together with Eneco and Vattenfall. The fund supports local projects that enhance liveability, sustainability, and energy transition in Rockanje, Oostvoorne, and Tinte, and is financed by revenues from the Slufterdam Wind Farm.  The Assessment Committee evaluates which projects receive subsidies.

What does the committee do?

  • Independently assessing subsidy applications from local initiatives;
  • Checking whether projects are in line with the fund's objectives;
  • Consulting and deciding on the granting of subsidies.

Who are we looking for?

Concerned residents of Rockanje, Oostvoorne, or Tinte who:

  • Be able to judge independently and carefully;
  • Be interested in quality of life, sustainability, or social projects;
  • Wanting to make well-considered choices together with others;
  • Experience with associations, finance, or sustainability is desirable, but not required.

The committee consists of residents who together represent the community of Rockanje, Oostvoorne, and Tinte.
