Maasdelta, Ressort Wonen and Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee now owners of 747 social housing units Brielle

With the last delivery on September 1, all rental properties in Brielle from Hef Wonen have now been sold to the Maasdelta Group Foundation, Housing Association Ressort Wonen and the municipal Housing Company Voorne aan Zee Hef Wonen sold the homes because it wants to focus primarily on Rotterdam.

373 homes were taken over by Maasdelta Groep, 80 homes and 2 commercial spaces by Housing Association Ressort Wonen and 294 homes and 11 garages were taken over by Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee .

On Monday, September 2, all parties congratulated each other on the purchase. Alderman Daan van Orselen, on behalf of Housing Company Voorne aan Zee : “This expansion of almost 300 homes in Brielle is important for the Housing Company and our residents. It allows us to continue to provide affordable rental homes in our municipality.”

This will help us meet the challenge of maintaining the supply of affordable rental homes. We expect to be able to expand this supply in the coming years by building new affordable homes in Brielle.”

In 2021, Hef Wonen (then still Vestia) already sold 708 homes in Brielle to Maasdelta Groep, Housing Association Ressort Wonen and Housing Association De Zes Kernen. This means that all rental homes of Hef Wonen in Brielle have been transferred. All tenants have been personally informed about the sale in the past period. Of course, they can continue to live in their homes.
