Online lunch sessions for entrepreneurs
An online lunch session is an informative conversation for and with entrepreneurs, held during lunchtime. The session lasts 30 minutes and takes place via MS Teams. We discuss short topics, focusing on immediate, practical applicability. Experts from the municipality's subject matter departments, and beyond, will speak and offer tips. Where possible, we will interview entrepreneurs who have experienced the impact of a topic in practice.
Practical information
Lunch sessions are every 6 weeks. A maximum of 25 people can participate. The day after the lunch session, participants will receive an email with a summary, tips and possibly answers to personal questions (if possible in such a short time). What do we discuss during such a session?
The topics are approachable and therefore easily covered within 30 minutes. The sessions are designed to provide entrepreneurs with tools they can immediately put into practice or explore further. Examples include: phishing and spoofing, applying for event permits, applying for subsidies, saving energy, rights and obligations in case of theft, objectively recruiting and selecting new employees, informing customers about AVG, keeping records during vacations, how to get to the table with the municipality, etc.
Prior to the lunch session, please submit questions on the topic via the Entrepreneur's Desk. They will be answered as much as possible during the session (or at the extreme immediately after).
Why are we starting lunch sessions?
Meetings for entrepreneurs are regularly organized in our region, by the municipalities and also by other organizations. As an entrepreneur, it is sometimes difficult to make time for these. And not every topic is interesting or applicable to everyone. We want to ensure that the entrepreneurs in Voorne aan Zee municipality receive as much information as possible, in different ways. One of these ways is an online lunch session.
We are starting a few lunch sessions in 2025 as a pilot to see if the lunch sessions are attended by business owners. If you have a topic you would like to see revisited during a lunch session, please let us know at nl
