Locations for charging stations through 2030

We examined in which neighborhoods charging stations are needed until 2030 and how many. We also looked at which spots are technically and traffic-suitable for installing charging stations. We put all these proposed locations in a Map .

How can you participate? 

You can respond (anonymously) to the proposed locations until Oct. 15 via the website participation.

Why capture locations now?

Currently, the application and possible placement per charging station takes a lot of time. For each application, the municipality looks for where the charging station can be located. The location of the charging station must meet all kinds of Requirements . For example, there must be enough space, the charge post must not be too close to a tree and there must be a power cable nearby.

To speed up this process, we want to determine which locations are suitable until 2030. To do this, we will make a traffic decree. Before we do so, we ask your opinion on the proposed locations.

Good to know

We place a charging station if:

• a request for this comes from the neighborhood;
• an existing charging station is widely used;  
• or to create a covering network. 

The Map with locations and the traffic decision will ensure that an application is processed more quickly because the situation and support for the proposed locations have already been considered.

These are locations for charging stations in public parking lots.
