Clean up any leftover fireworks!
New Year's Day is a day when many children take to the streets in search of fireworks to set off. Not only is it illegal to set off fireworks at this time, it is also very dangerous. Therefore, do not leave fireworks lying on the street, especially fireworks that have not gone off. Clean up any remaining fireworks immediately after setting them off. It is important that the remains are no longer burning or smoldering when you throw them away. You can dispose of fireworks at the recycling center.
