Emergency services are ready to assist you during the New Year's celebrations!
New Year's Eve is always the busiest night of the year for our emergency responders. This year will certainly be no different. We expect a lot from them and want them to be able to start the new year safe and healthy.

They are always there! Again during this New Year's Eve. Firefighters, emergency room and ambulance personnel, as well as police officers, special investigating officers, and public transport employees will not be with their families on New Year's Eve. They are committed to ensuring a pleasant and safe New Year's Eve for all of us.
In order to handle the high number of reports we expect to receive, the Rotterdam-Rijnmond Safety Region is deploying additional staff. This includes the emergency response center, the fire department, the police, and the ambulance service. I greatly appreciate their efforts.
Let them do their job safely! Keep this New Year's Eve fun and celebrate safely. For yourself, but also for our emergency workers.
