The City of Rotterdam is investigating port noise: your opinion matters
Do you live near the port? The City of Rotterdam would like to know how you experience port noise. Please fill out the short online survey and help create a livable environment. Your participation is confidential and voluntary. You can participate until April 15, 2026.

Living close to the port sometimes means having to deal with noise pollution from port activities. The City of Rotterdam is conducting a study to find out how residents experience port noise. This study will help them develop a policy document outlining future noise management in the port area.
If you live in Voorne aan Zee, near the harbor, you can contribute to this study. The Municipality Voorne aan Zee you to complete the online survey. It takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Please note: This survey is being conducted by the City of Rotterdam. Your feedback will be used to better assess noise levels in the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region. The results will be made public and incorporated into the environmental plan, which is scheduled to be updated by 2031 at the latest.
Your participation is voluntary, and your responses will be treated confidentially. By participating, you are helping to create a living environment where residential and port activities can coexist.
