Ellen Kreeft

We received the sad news that Ellen Kreeft passed away on July 18, 2025. Ellen had been a wedding officiant with our municipality since September 2020. She was appointed extraordinary registrar in Brielle Municipality on September 17, 2020 and has performed many marriages and registered partnerships since that time.

It was always a great honor for Ellen to perform these engagements. For her, the diversity of the couples made each ceremony special and colorful. She involved the whole party in the ceremony and her speeches were full of funny and emotional moments. We remember Ellen as a sweet, cheerful and sociable woman. 

We wish family, friends, colleagues and everyone who knew Ellen much strength to cope with this loss.
