A fine conclusion to the Politically Active course

The mayor was able to present certificates to as many as 28 residents yesterday for successfully completing the course.

What a great result was achieved in cooperation with the Municipal Council and Prodemos -House for Democracy and the Rule of Law - with the Politically Active course. This spring, the Municipal Clerk’s Office Office organized no less than two courses because of the great enthusiasm among the residents of the Municipality of Voorne aan Zee. Yesterday was the conclusion of the second series of the course. The mayor was able to present no fewer than 28 residents with certificates for successfully completing the Politically Active course.

Thanks to the course, the 50 participants now know not only how our municipality works, but also how they themselves can influence local politics. Some have even already taken the first step toward political involvement. How great is that!

The program varied from an introduction to state government, how does the municipality and city council work to speed dating with council members. And finally following and analyzing a council meeting. It was great to see how much enthusiasm and commitment there was among the participants.
