Oostvoorne center area redevelopment

Citizen Participation

Through a process with residents (citizen participation process), a new design for the public area was created. In making this design, the goal was to make the center attractive and safe.

Planning and Phasing

Work will begin on September 1, 2025 and will be carried out in phases. For each phase, roads will be closed. Residents and business owners will be able to access their premises on foot during the closure. The work is expected to last until the end of November 2025.

Description of phasing:

• Phase 1 (green): Mayor Lette Road "North," from Sept. 1 through Sept. 11.
• Phase 2 (brown): Burgemeester Letteweg "South," from Sept. 12 through Sept. 24.
• Phase 3 (blue): Station Road intersection on Sept. 25.
• Phase 4a (purple): intersection Church Square - Burgemeester Letteweg, from Sept. 26 to 29.
• Phase 4b (light blue): Church Square "South," from Sept. 30 through Oct. 10.
• Phase 5 (gray): Church Square "North," from Oct. 13 through Oct. 23.
• Phase 6 (red): intersection Church Square - Court Avenue on Oct. 24.
• Phase 7a (dark red): intersection Church Square - Mildenburg Avenue, Oct. 27 and 28.
• Phase 7b (orange): Mildenburg Avenue 'North,' from Oct. 29 through Nov. 13.
• Phase 8 (blue-gray): Mildenburg Avenue 'south' from Nov. 14 to 28.

A green zone has also been designated at Church Square 'North' for "additional parking" during the work.
