This requires a great deal of effort from, for example, the lifeguard brigade, Voorne-Putten Werkt, volunteers, and our beach pavilion operators. Together, they ensure safe, clean, and welcoming beaches. I am incredibly proud of that!”

The beaches are inspected annually for factors including water quality, beach cleanliness, public restrooms, trash cans, and lifesaving equipment. Quackstrand received positive ratings on all criteria. Alderman Jan Spoon: “It wasn’t for lack of effort on everyone’s part. We sincerely hope that Quackstrand will score excellent in all categories again next year.”
