Local tax assessment

You will soon receive your local tax assessment.

In February, SVHW will send out local tax assessments on behalf of the municipality Voorne aan Zee the Hollandse Delta Water Board. You will receive this assessment via Mijn Overheid and by mail. The municipality uses the money from these taxes to pay for important services, such as street lighting, sewerage, and waste collection.

What is the WOZ value?

SVHW determines the WOZ value of your home or building. To do this, SVHW uses the market value of your home or building around January 1, 2025. As a result, the value may be higher or lower than you expect.

Do you disagree with the WOZ value?

The valuation report states which data SVHW has used. Do you think something is incorrect? If so, you can easily submit an objection free of charge using SVHW's online WOZ objection form.

Please note: if you have previously lodged an objection through a commercial agency, check whether you have given an authorization without an end date. Such an authorization ensures that the agency continues to lodge objections without you noticing. You must also pay any legal costs you receive to the agency yourself.
