13 Royal honors in Voorne aan Zee

On Friday, April 24, 13 residents of Voorne aan Zee received royal Voorne aan Zee . Mayor Arno Scheepers presented the awards at Theater Twee Hondjes in Hellevoetsluis. During the annual awards ceremony, residents who have made a special contribution to society are honored.

Mayor Scheepers: "Today we honor those who, for years—often quietly and almost always without expecting anything in return—have dedicated themselves to our community: to our clubs, churches, museums, healthcare institutions, politics, and so on. They themselves would probably think this is 'over the top.' But it certainly isn’t. Today, we are rightfully putting them in the spotlight."
