Come Saturday, Nov. 1, to 'bushwalk' in Oostvoorne
Residents of Voorne aan Zee may dig out plants from the park on Burgemeester Bolwidtweg in Oostvoorne for their own gardens on Saturday, November 1. The plants in the village park must be removed to make the land ready for building. These are good quality perennials such as asters and geraniums.

Own tools
Councilors Daan van Orselen and Robert van der Kooi will give the starting signal at 10 a.m. Residents may dig out a few (maximum fifteen) plants per address using their own tools and plant them in their own gardens until 2 p.m. (gone = gone).
Site preparation
The action is part of the preparations for the construction of a new apartment complex of the Woonbedrijf. The bushes in the current village park, located between apartment complex De Brielsche Hoeck and the complex on the Elisabethhof, must go away to make the land ready for construction. The municipality considers it a waste to remove and dispose of the plants and is therefore giving residents of Voorne aan Zee the opportunity to collect plants. Seize this opportunity to preserve a piece of nature and enrich your own garden!
